Let me introduce myself
Below are the recurring misnomers and nicknames I’ve been associated with here. Obviously, I’m only repeating the ones said with fairly good intentions. :-)“Ms. Mango.”
“Margoat.” (My first two weeks at the office everyone referred to me thus.)
“Mamok.” (From MArgot MOrgan Kane. Mamok means “to heat” in Amharic.)
“The Fanatic.”
“Reese.”
“Morgan.” (Strangely, this is often done accidentally by people who don’t know my middle name is Morgan.)
“Iran.” (While Amel was referred to as “Iraq.” We bicker a lot.)
“The Communications Specialist from Boston.” (I think I laughed the hardest at this one.)
I’m sure the list will grow, but this is a promising start, compared to the names I was saddled with in high school.
